A sparse Björkian ballad that stretches his soaring falsetto and emotionally uncertain lyrics across a tense, minimal, twitchy landscape, “Leaver, Gloss” spotlights the emerging artist’s keen ear for cutting-edge production techniques, powerful songwriting, and dynamic arrangements. The original is backed by remixes from a diverse cast of up-and-coming underground producers: NYC’s Kadahn (Hush Hush, Symbols), Bristol, UK’s Ollie Macfarlane (STYLSS), Oklahoma’s Twisted Psykie, Manchester, UK’s Partisan, and London’s Keenya (Hush Hush) that take the song into adventurous and abstract new territory.
